Little news:

What is up with the smileys?

They're my buddies for my blog! I made them myself with MS paint!

Would be me!!!!!! (at the moment. I can't guarantee I was yesterday or will be in an hour).

Stupid Hofstra had my whole student account on hold which meant I couldn't register for classes..
and I also couldn't transfer (so basically, I'm forced to stay a hofstra student but I'm not allowed to take any classes....)

But after mailing 3 people one of them has finally (after a whole freaking month) took the damn thing off!!!!!!!

Now I can get my Hofstra transcript and transfer to NCC :).

I wrote a video game review
and guess what?
My review is ranked 1st out of 4 reviews.
Do you know what that means?
It means I have a high chance of having my review picked to be used for publication ^^. And if it is picked, I get 20$.
I feel happy seeing such a high possibility of being picked.

Back off , she's mine :D

[16:05] StillThere4Me: Carolanne, I feel really horrible that I've been hurting you enough for you to think that I don't care or like you any more--but I swear, you are my best friend, and that is NOT changing anytime in the future unless YOU want it to. And I mean Old ladies in a home future. You are my BEST friend for as long as YOU want to be.
[16:06] StillThere4Me: When you couldn't be at Carle Place, I swear I was MISERABLE and I missed you SO much. At one point i was actually crying on the bus to boces because I was going through some crap and I knew when I got back to Carle Place I wouldn't be running into you all hyper and smiling and squeaking cheering me up.

AimConvo...Back off...She's MINE!!!!!!!

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

The Northeast

The Midland

Philadelphia

North Central

Boston

The South

The West

Well let's see
1. My DealBarbiePaysFast Check arrived ^_^ 12.29$
2. I got semi accepted into Blogvertise  $2.0
3. I used one of my blog posts and formatted it into an article and submitted it to Associated Content a while back, they accepted it and are giving 3.52% for it
4. My blog's rating keeps going up
5. I got 100 unique visitors in 2 days (even though I started advertising 4 days ago)
6. I got 2 perma links accepted. That's 3.5$ each so 7$

Total for the last few days: 24.81$
I have a right to be happy :D I'm making money online.

My new favorite website

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Is ...
the IRS website! *watches people running away from her* No wait! It's not like that!

I'm not a tax freak o.O
Actually, the reason why I love the website is because I hate taxes.
The website has all the info you would ever need (and a search feature) and it's written in simple language so anyone can understand it.
Which means...
anyone can figure out the loopholes!

Now why do I , myself, specifically love it?
I like to earn money (if you knew me, that wouldn't come as a surprise to you).
I'm obsessed with it..really.
So, I sell things on ebay.
I write articles (and get paid for them).
I take pictures (and sell them)..
I participate in GPT sites.
I put ads on my blogs.

and while all of these sites had some section about taxes, nothing really cleared all that up for me until I got to the IRS website.
What'd I learn?
blog ads/ articles/ photos/ gpt sites all fall into the independent Contractor category (unless you actually work for the company) and as long as you make less than 600$ per year PER PROGRAM,  you don't have to report your income.
That means I can make 400 on one ad program, 300 on another ad program, 400 on one article site, 100 on a pic site and 200 on a gpt site and even though I obviously made more than 600 in that (tax) year, I wouldn't have to report any of them because they're less than 600 per year per program.
Then when the next tax year comes, I do it all over again.

Also, for ebayers (and other online sellers).
If you're selling stuff that you don't want that are yours (like an online garage sale) and your items have DEPRECIATING value (that means their value go down over time), you don't have to report it.
If you sell items with APPRECIATING  value (go up over time..like art...and antiques..and rare stuff), you DO have to report it.
If you sell stuff as if you were a business (like buy specifically for the sake of selling for a higher price, selling services, etc..) then you have to pay the small business taxes (and that means you can get small business reductions).

I sell stuff I don't want anymore.
Therefore I'm a "online garage seller".
I don't own much rare stuff, so I sell DEPRECIATING items.
Basically, Personally, I don't have to report my sellings (other people might have to).
So..yeah..I'm happy about that and therefore...
IRS WEBSITE RULES!!!!

OMG I'm so happy!

Why am I happy?

MOST IMPORTANT REASONS:
1.Associated Content paid me!!!!!!!!
I wrote a (quick) article (took me less than 10 mins) and they gave me 3.57$. I finally received it in my paypal!
2.Someone told me about how I could use google cached files to restore my lost post (from my blog..I accidentally deleted everything a few days ago and there was one post that wasn't backed up...but Google had it cached!!!!!!!!!!)

Other reasons:
1. I reached payout on TheDragonsGold (15$)
2. I reached payout on Anythingfree4you (20$)
3. I reached payout on Dealbarbiepaysfast (5$)
4. More and more people are reading my blog!
5. Someone's bidding on my ebay item. (Check out my site WhiteCloud's Bazaar to find out what I'm selling and when)

Writing Backwards is fun/RSS

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
So I was in a chat room and everyone started to write backwards. It's fun.
So what shall I talk about?
Or rather...
?tuoba klat I llahs tawh oS

Ok I'm rather new to Live Journal and don't have much to say. I actually joined because

1. My friend joined and that way I can read about her life (since I used her rss feed and connected it to my yahoo)

BTW rss feeds for people are:
Pick which ever you like. Not all templates will have the rss links available on them. (Like the layout I like shows no rss links. So I put one there myself.)
There are 3 different types of feed.

RSS: http://cloudine.livejournal.com/data/rss
Atom: http://cloudine.livejournal.com/data/atom
API-enabled Atom: http://www.livejournal.com/interface/atomapi/cloudine/feed

Just replace Cloudine with your username

2. I figured it'd be fun (since unlike regular blogs, journals can be about the things nobody cares about)
3. It can be used to advertise my real blog and sites. (the links on my profile)
4. It gets me over Writer's block
5. I can get new ideas for what to write on Associated Content or Helium
